Six More Mothers Day Cards
I have been really busy making these Mothers Day cards made to order, I have about 10 more to make! I am trying to make each one different and unique so that no two are the same. As you can see I have used the Cuttlebug and Nesties on each of the cards and coloured the images using Prisma pencils. The inspiration for the orange and yellow card came from the lovely ribbon I have used on this card, I thought I would pick out the orange, white and lemon.

Following in my footsteps
I just had to show you this brilliant card that my almost six year old grandson Sam made for his dads birthday next week. He made the card all by himself apart from the taping of the red card to the base card and putting the insert into the card, I helped him a bit there. He stamped and coloured, stamped the envelope and even added the brads! He loves crafting, has done from a very early age and I am sure his dad will love this card who is a fanatic Man U fan, can't you tell!! Sam loves to watch and join in when I am in my craft room and is always colouring and cutting and pasting.

Hedgie Mothers Day
I have been asked to make quite a few Mother's Day cards by friend's and as I enjoy making these scalloped circle cards so much it would make it less of a chore! I have used pink Bazzil Card and of course the scallops are made using the trusty old Cuttlebug. The sentiment inside is a stamp I have had for ages that came free with a magazine. I shall be making lots more of these style of cards and posting them on my blog, so keep a look out.

A Prayer for Everyone
This lovely email was sent to me and I would like to pass it on to all the followers of my blog, my blogging buddies, the many lovely friends (including the lovely lady who sent it to me, you know who you are!) I have made through cardmaking and blogging and anyone who passes by my blog!
Dear Lord,
Every single evening
As I'm lying here in bed,
This tiny little Prayer
Keeps running through my head:
God bless all my family
Wherever they may be,
Keep them warm and safe from harm
For they're so close to me.
And God, there is one more thing
I wish that you could do;
Hope you don't mind me asking,
Please bless my computer too.
Now I know that it's unusual
To Bless a motherboard,
But listen just a second
While I explain it to you, Lord.
You see, that little metal box
Holds more than odds and ends;
Inside those small compartments
Rest so many of my friends.
I know so much about them
By the kindness that they give,
And this little scrap of metal
Takes me in to where they live.
Please take an extra minute
From your duties up above,
To bless those in my address book
That's filled with so much love.
Wherever else this prayer may reach
To each and every friend,
Bless each e-mail inbox
And each person who hits 'send'.
When you update your Heavenly list
On your own Great CD-ROM,
Bless everyone who says this prayer
Sent up to GOD.com
Amen

Tilda Birthday Card
This card I have made for a very dear friend's birthday. The little angel charm has 'Made for an Angel' on the back of it which is very apt for her. The papers are Basic Grey Sugared, the large flowers are homemade using the Cuttlebug, the smaller flowers are punched with a pearl brad to hold them together. The leaves are punched using the Leone Em Ash branch.

Double Embossing with Cuttlebug Folders
I saw this technique done with the Cuttlebug and thought it would be fun to have a go at and I'm quite pleased with the finished result. Used the Swiss Dots folder first then the Stylised Flower folder over the top of the Swiss Dots. Rolling through the bug a second time does flatten the swiss dots but it gives a nice subtle background. You have to play around with different folders as not all folders 'match together'
The inspiration for this technique was from the very talented Sue Nelson of Heartprints
I have chalked the flowers and leaves and the tag was cut on the bug and stamped 'Hi'

Spinner and Smirk
These 2 lovely items were made at Craft Club last week using the fabulous new 'Smirk' stamps.
First time I have made a 'spinner' card and I quite like the effect. The round box is covered using Basic Grey Urban Prairie/Bountiful paper. Thanks to Andrea for her brilliant inspiration. Apologies for the poor photo quality.

Valentine or Anniversary & Cuttlebug Challenge # 17
Well I visited the Stitch & Creative Crafts Show on Saturday at G-Mex in Manchester. Had a great day and spent loads of dosh, but came home with lots of stash!! One of my buys was this gorgeous punch which I couldn't wait to have a play with! There were four of us went together and we had a fab day, thanks to Barbara, Anne and Janet.
This card is also my entry for this week's challenge on the Cuttlebug Spot # 17 which is to have the word 'love' in your project.

Magnolia 21st Birthday Card & Colour Create Challenge # 1
What do you think of this card, I feel that there is something missing but not sure what, any ideas or suggestions gratefully received! Tilda's top and socks are green not yellow as they look in the photo. I usually put separate inserts inside my cards but decided to try something different by adding a bit of embellishment inside instead. The card is for a friend for her nieces's 21st birthday. It's also my entry for the very first challenge on Colour Create - pink, green and brown!

Diva Baby Belle
Just had to show you these photos of Belle in her doggy outfits! She just loves wearing her little designer clothes, this is just a small selection, she has a better wardrobe than me! She has Ugg boots, dressing gown and slippers, coats, hoodies, hats and scarves even leg warmers! She quite happily trots along on her lead, she doesn't care who stares at her in disbelief and she gets some looks I can tell you! She is one spoilt little pup.
