Just Magnolia Challenge #1

The first challenge this week for 'Just Magnolia' is a sketch and this is my entry. This was a lovely sketch and the card just came together so well. The paper I have used is Basic Grey Bittersweet, the flowers I made using my scalloped circle nesties and the leaves are Leone Em Ash punch. Tilda is coloured using Prisma pencils and Sansador and I had to give this little Tilda a mouth, her face looked a little 'blank' to me!

Tilda Birthday Card

This card I have made for a very dear friend's birthday. The little angel charm has 'Made for an Angel' on the back of it which is very apt for her. The papers are Basic Grey Sugared, the large flowers are homemade using the Cuttlebug, the smaller flowers are punched with a pearl brad to hold them together. The leaves are punched using the Leone Em Ash branch.

Victorian Girl Decoupage

This is a very different card for me but I so liked this picture and I knew exactly the layout I wanted for it. The photo doesn't really do it justice, I think my camera is past it's sell by date! The paper is from the Basic Grey Bittersweet & Sugared range.

Spinner and Smirk

These 2 lovely items were made at Craft Club last week using the fabulous new 'Smirk' stamps.
First time I have made a 'spinner' card and I quite like the effect. The round box is covered using Basic Grey Urban Prairie/Bountiful paper. Thanks to Andrea for her brilliant inspiration. Apologies for the poor photo quality.

Monster Pegs!

Don't ya think these pegs are sooo cute?
When I saw them at craft club on Tuesday night, I just had to have a go at dressing em up! Andrea had done some really fabby ones, she is a clever girl, don't know where she gets her inspiration but glad she does! The pegs actually measure 6" x 1.5" so they are quite big but great idea for holding little notes or just as a small thank you gift.

I covered mine with Basic Gray 'Sugared' paper, added a Tilda and some Anita's ribbon, a bit of bling and stamped sentiments. This one is going to my daughter Donna, she loves anything out of the ordinary so I know she will love this!
PS. I bought this peg at my local craft shop, not sure of the make of them, but will try to find out!!
