Triple Happiness!!

Good evening everyone, hope you are all well and not too cold .... its freezing isnt it!!  Had a really unusual request for a card for triplets.......at first I thought of it as a bit of a daunting task but the fabulous Mo's Digital images came to my rescue!!   This one is Diaper Crew, there are 6 fab images to choose from and a doddle to colour!

Papers are Nitwits - Grins N Giggles.
Sentiment done on PC
Ribbon and dummies from stash

I forgot to take a photo of the inside but the verse is:

Three to cuddle, three to hold,
three to treasure, good as gold.
Three to watch, what a game,
now what's different, what's the same.
Three in nappies, three in bibs,
three in sleepers, tucked in cribs.
Three to lullaby, not one peep,
three now hush, fall fast asleep.
Congratulations on your triple happiness!

A quickie post as I am just dashing off to my Tuesday evening craft group.... enjoy the rest of your day and thanks for looking!

Hugs XXXX

Another side stepper!

Hello my lovelies, hope the sun is shining for you today, its lovely here in Cheshire, makes you feel so much better to see a bit of sunshine! I think at last we can say Spring is definately on its way!

Today's card is another side stepper, I like these they are so simple yet look so effective when embellished. This one is for a friend's grandson's 1st birthday next week. The cute little images are from Cuddly Buddly Itty Bitty Nursery. I feel a bit of a cheat as the images were ready coloured but it did make the card a tad quicker to make!
I used white linen card for the base, the paper is Prima Jack & Jill (love this paperpad!), sentiment done on PC, the scalloped edge is Fiskars Treading Water punch.
Enjoy the rest of your day and thanks for dropping by, I really do appreciate it!

Whiff of Joy Baby Girl

Another baby card, not for anyone in particular, I just wanted to make a card using one of the new gorgeous Whiff of Joy Womens Delight Wedding & Baby Collection stamps!

I tried using the 'Out of the Nestie' technique and it worked brilliantly, I think it just gives a bit of dimension to the card. If you fancy having a go at this technique have a peek at this tutorial, its so easy to follow.

A Spoonful of Sugar Challenge 35 - Oh Baby

A Spoonfull of Sugar

The Challenge this week is to create a card for a New Baby, Mum-to-be, New Mum or Pre-schooler. I think this stamp is really cute and I love to add buttons on baby cards.

Todays Cards

These two are very different to my usual style of card. I have used Penny Black Stickeroos which are stuck onto small folded pieces of card and then matted onto white card which I have doodled hearts and words. Prisma coloured the hearts. The bows are made from floss thread.

These 3 cards I stamped and coloured with Prisma pencils and Sansador. The embossing has been done on my Cuttlebug.

Christening Cards

This is one of 22 invites made for a friend's baby girls Christening. I made 3 samples for her to choose from and this is the one she liked best.

Hedgie Baby Card

Another card made at Craft Club last night. This Penny Black baby hedgie stamp is so cute and the lilac makes a nice change from pink or blue. The pearlised lilac card is embossed with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder and the image is coloured using pencils and Sansador. Doodled around the edges.
Thanks to Andrea for the inspiration for this lovely card.

New Baby Cards

Made these baby cards today using the my liitle Cuttlebug. I am a great fan of Sue Nelson of Heartprints, she gives me so much inspiration. First I printed the greeting out on PC, then put the card through the bug using the baby words folder. Scored a couple of lines, embossed the bottom half of card with Swiss Dots folder, added the peel offs, which I chalked with appropriate colour and added the bow. Then I taped it with DS tape to a pink or blue base card. Simple and effective.
